Well Mr. Black, I can definitely can say the use of open source software and the movement in general isn’t just a bunch of men in bowler’s cap who study code professionally in a questionably dim lit room anymore. Now, in 2012, as people are more tech savvy and baby Jeffery is learning how to change the iPad settings, while Grandma Jan is still figuring out people stopped calling the television remote, the “clicker” 20 years ago. The interface and simple coding needed for manipulating open source software could be learned by a 3rd grader. It’s why things such as WordPress are so successful, because in the core, don’t we all just have a 3rd grade learning system?
